Barbara Kerr is a passionate knitter. She has been knitting every day since she was 17 years old. She has studied with many experts in the field including, Kaffe Fasset, Alice Starmore, Sally Melville, Horst Schulz, and June Hiatt, to mention but a few. Barbara has traveled to, England, Ireland, Scotland, as well as California in search of knitting knowledge.

For the past 7 years Barbara has been teaching knitting weekly. Her enthusiastic teaching style and comprehensive workshops have won audiences’ appreciation all over the country. While she specialized in Patchwork Knitting, her expertise run from simple projects (simple baby blanket for a complete beginner) to complex garment designs involving unique textiles with varying textures, colors and shapes (suitable for the most advanced knitter looking for inspiration).
